What's the Deal Dreadful? Review of Kiva Gourmet Hot + Sweet Smoked Paprika

**Press**
     Hello Lovelies,
I am back again with another cooking based review. Today I am reviewing Kiva Gourmet Hot + Sweet Smoked Paprika. Both Mr Dreadful and myself like to cook and we love trying new spices. While paprika isn't a new spice to our kitchen we love the fact that paprika does give a hint of smokey flavor to our dishes so we were excited to try these two spices out. They arrived well packaged and wrapped up nicely in a box. Both bottles are similar in packaging in nice solid plastic bottles and similar labeling however the Hot Smoked Paprika is slightly darker in colors that the Sweet Smoked. The Sweet Smoked Paprika has a deep rich flavor with a hint of sweetness and smoke which isn't too overpowering. The Hot Smoked Paprika flavor has a deeper richer flavor as with a full spice flavor. The hot smoked is spicy however there is flavor behind the heat instead of just nothing but spice. The Sweet Smoked Paprika goes wonderfully with just about anything that you would want to add paprika on. We have used it in potato salad, egg salad, devil eggs, tuna salad, etc.  My husband likes to use the Hot Smoked Paprika in his rubs on his meat and even on fish.

If you want to pick up the set of Hot +Sweet Smoked Paprika you can do so on Amazon. It is $10.99 for the set. I hope that you enjoyed this installment of What's the Deal Dreadful and until next time lovelies!

What's the Deal Dreadful? Review of Super Nova 300 Lumens Emergency Lantern

**Press**

   Hello Lovelies,
I am back again today with what I would consider a home necessity review. Today I am reviewing Super Nova 300 Lumens Emergency Lantern. Living in Florida we have hurricane seasons. That is right an entire LONG SEASON of lots of rain and wind. And while most hurricanes are just thunderstorms and the occasional reason to throw a hurricane party, there are the occasional times when you have to have a lantern during this season. I also wanted to get Mr Dreadful another lantern when he took the boys camping as well. We wanted something both bright and compact  for easy storage and we also wanted a lantern that didn't require us to own stock in a battery company in order to power it.  This lamp fits all of those requirements. It arrived quickly and honestly I was a little taken back from the small size and I wondered if it would really be able to fit out lightning needs. It is extremely well made and surprisingly light . So that makes for easier carrying for camping. There is a green flashing light above the on off button which is fantastic for trying to locate it in a dark room when then power goes off (or a dark tent for that matter) and we were even surprised when we realized the dome came off and there was a hook on the bottom to hang it upside down. We didn't have any issues with lining up the bottom when placing the batteries in the lantern and we were super pleased with not only the ability for this lantern to light up the room (and tent) with ease, how long the batteries last but how lightweight and easy to carry it was.  This is a fantastic lantern to take camping and to have in your home in case of emergencies!

If you want to pick up your own Supernova 300 you can do so on Amazon. It is $49.99 however it is currently on sale for $35.00. I hope that you enjoyed this installment of What's the Deal Dreadful, until next time lovelies!

What's the Deal Dreadful? Review of Radha Beauty Intensive Eye Gel

**Press**

   Hello Lovelies,
I am back with another skincare review. I am reviewing Radha Beauty's Intensive Eye Gel today. I often struggle with lack of sleep since I have three kids and when I don't get enough rest it immediately shows up in my eyes in the form of puffiness and dark circles so I am always looking for an eye cream that helps with that. I am pleased to say that this product does both and helps with preventing and filling in fine lines and wrinkles. I couldn't be more pleased. The product arrived quickly and was well packaged. The product itself was in a white plastic bottle verses the black one shown and it has a pump applicator. The gel itself is thick and not runny and has a slight opaque hue to it and smells faintly of cucumbers. The scent isn't overpowering and fades quickly after you apply it to your eyes. One full pump is more than enough to use for both eyes. After taking a shower (or cleaning my face) I apply an toner, and then I squirt one pump of the eye gel on the back on my hand and gently pat it into the skin around and on my eyes then I continue with my beauty routine. I have used this twice a day both in the morning and night and I have noticed a tremendous difference. My puffiness has decreased tremendously as well as my dark circles have diminished and the skin around my eyes seems firmer! I am super pleased with this product and I can't wait to see the results when I am done with the bottle.

If you would like to pick up your  own bottle of Radha Beauty Intensive Eye Gel you can do so on Amazon. It is $59.95 however it is currently on sale for $16.89. I hope that you enjoyed this installment of What's the Deal Dreadful, until next time lovelies!

What's the Deal Dreadful? Review of Valentina Even Glow Vitamin C Serum

**Press**

   Hello Lovelies,
I am back again with another skincare review. Today I am reviewing Valentina's Even Glow Vitamin C Serum.  I love the way that serums make my skin look and feel and this product is no exception. The product arrived quickly packaged in a white box. The product itself is in an amber glass bottle with an eye dropper in order to dispense the product. The serum has the consistency of a runny lotion. It is slightly opaque with an orange tint to it and has a citrus scent to it. The smell itself isn't overpowering and quickly dissipates after applying the serum to your face. I first wash my face, then I apply a toner then I apply the serum by applying a couple of drops into the palm of my hand and rubbing my hands together and then applying it gently to my face. The serum applies evenly and doesn't leave a sticky or greasy feeling afterwards.Once the serum is absorbs I then apply a moisturizer. I have been using this product twice a day, once in the morning before applying my makeup and in the evening after removing it and I am very pleased with the results. My skin is softer, firmer, and my redness has faded which I am super pleased about. I also noticed that don't have to use as much moisturizer since I have been using this product. I couldn't be more pleased!

What's the Deal Dreadful? Review of Body Merry's Age Defense Neck Cream

**Press**

    Hello Lovelies,
I am back again with another skincare review. Today I am reviewing Body Merry's Age Defense Neck Cream. I have tried a lot of beauty products but I have never tried one that specifically targeted the neck area so I was eager to try this. The product arrived quickly and was well packaged. The product is packaged in a large black plastic bottle with a pump applicator which makes for easy application. Like most pump applicators, you may have to pump it a couple of times the first time you use it in. The cream is thick and creamy with a white opaque color. It has a very subtle and light scent which sort of like a subtle cucumber which dissipates quickly after applying the cream so it isn't heavy or overpowering. The cream applies easily and two pumps gives me more than enough coverage on my neck and upper chest area. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a greasy or oily feeling afterwards. I will admit that I didn't think that I needed a neck cream when I first got the product and I wanted to use it as a preventative, however after using it I have noticed that the skin around my neck and upper chest is much firmer , smoother and hydrated. I have been applying this cream twice a day , once in the morning before I apply my makeup and in the evening after I remove my makeup before I go to bed and I have really noticed a difference.

If you would like to pick up your own bottle of Body Merry's Age Defense Neck Cream you can do so on Amazon. It is $49.99 however it is currently on sale for $19.99. I hope that you enjoyed this installment of What's the Deal Dreadful, until next time lovelies!

The Leviathan was hunting for a Ghost Job....

*Press, Affiliate Links*

   Hello Lovelies,
Surprise! I am actually doing a makeup post! I know that I have gotten very bad about not posting makeup looks on the page and only doing review. However I am trying to do better if only my munchkins would stop catching the plague. I am all ready over March and it is just the bad luck month that won't go away. I am hoping that April is better or else I am going to just try to hibernate until next year. -_- But enough of me gripping about this month and on with the makeup! I just recently discovered the super talented @ida_elina on IG and her work is incredible. There was a blue bold cut crease that she created that I couldn't get enough of so I had to try to recreate it. So here is my attempt at her recreation.

I created this look with the following products
Darling Girl Cosmetics (DG) Leviathan both dry and foiled to create the dots
DG Ghost Job
Sugarpill Cosmetics Bulletproof
Wolfe FX Essential Palette
Aimo X-up5 Lashes from BornPrettyStore (use code KLH10 in order to receive a discount and free shipping!)

If you are on Instagram please be sure to check out @ida_elina and of course I would love it if you followed me as well. I hope that you enjoyed this eye of the day and until next time lovlies!

What's the Deal Dreadful? Review of Francois et Mimi Single Wall Borosilicate Glass French Coffee Press 50oz

**Press**

    Hello Lovelies,
I am back again with another review. Today I am reviewing, Francois et Mimi Single Wall Borosilicate Glass French Coffee Press 50oz. Surprisingly enough, in my household we don't drink coffee. I know we might as well have grown a second head with that comment from the looks we get when we tell people we don't drink coffee. We have never developed a taste for it so most people wonder why we have a French Press if we don't drink coffee. We are a tea drinking household and we are constantly trying new teas to either ice or drink hot. I had read a blog about someone mentioning the benefits of why brewing tea in a French Press was so much better than the traditional tea ball so I wanted to try it. I will state this, that the French Press was packaged poorly and really should have much better padding around it and in it. If my delivery man had a bad day or a package would have fallen on the box my press would have arrived broken. However after it arrived in one piece I quickly washed it and set out to try brewing tea in it. I followed the suggestions on the blog such as only as much water I was going to use for the cups of tea being made and then allowing the tea to steep to the desired strength.  Then and this was the important part, to carefully lower the press about halfway to the bottom so that you don't compress the tea leaves and make your tea bitter. Finally pour your tea in your cups and or container so you don't over steep the rest of the tea. Then I could add more water to the leaves to create as much tea as I wanted until my desired strength was no longer obtainable. It was easy and simple enough to do after following the suggestions on the blog. The tea was wonderful and it was so much easier for creating tea for myself and my husband instead of trying to find two separate tea balls , fill them up, etc. It makes making tea for a large group of people so much easier. The press is large and storing it may be an issue for some if there is limited space. Overall I like the press, however it is rather large and they do need to make sure that the press is packaged better or else there will be a lot of broken presses delivered.

If you would like your own Francois et Mimi 50oz Glass French Press you can pick on up on Amazon. It is currently out of stock so be sure to check back when it does return. I hope that you enjoyed this installment of What's the Deal Dreadful, until next time lovelies!

What's the Deal Dreadful? Review of Luxe Beauty Essentials Plush Microfiber Hair Towel

**Press**

    Hello Lovelies,
I am back this time with another beauty review. Today I am reviewing Luxe Beauty Essentials Plush Microfiber Hair Towel.I have really long hair so it takes a while for my hair to dry. Normally if I wash my hair I usually wrap it up in a towel and continue on with applying my skincare products and then applying my makeup which can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. By the time that is done and I am dressed then I unwrap my hair brush it and then use a hair dryer on it. Things change slightly at night but it still takes me around 15 minutes of a towel on my head while getting ready for bed and my hair is still drenched. So anything cutting my drying time down was worth me trying. the Towel arrived quickly and was packed in a plastic with a paper band wrapped around it with washing and drying instructions. The towel itself is large enough for me to easily wrap it around my head an put my hair up without any hair sticking out and my hair is halfway down my back. The towel itself is white and extremely soft. The directions state no bleach so for ladies who dye their hair you may want to wait until the hair dye bleeding has stopped in order to keep this towel pristine. This towel is super soft and extremely well made on top of being a water magnet. It just absorbs it like there is no tomorrow. After I shower and wrap this towel around my head my hair only slightly damp after 15 minutes! After I am done, I simply hang it on the hook on the back of my bathroom door and allow it to dry overnight. It is still super soft after a week and NO mildew smell! I am super impressed and extremely pleased. I would love this in more colors especially darker one for ladies like myself who use dark hair dye.  I have never used a hair towel before and thought and all towels were fine when drying hair, I was so wrong!

If you would like to pick up your own Luxe Beauty Essentials Plush Microfiber Hair Towel you can do so on Amazon. It is $21.97 however it is currently on sale for $15.97. I hope that you enjoyed this installment of What's the Deal Dreadful, until next time lovelies!

What's the Deal Dreadful? Review of Fraser Kitchen and Food Scale

**Press**

   Hello Lovelies,
I am back today with another healthy living review. Today I am reviewing Fraser Kitchen and Food Scale. Since my husband and I are trying to be healthier, we figured that using a kitchen scale will help us with some of the mysteries of portion sizes when it comes to cooking. We were really pleased when the scale arrived. It arrived well packaged in a white box. The scale is not only thin but light weight and very sleek in design. You have to turn the scale over and open up the battery compartment to remove the plastic tab in order for the scale to come on. Then you simply placed the scale on the counter and then place your food items on top. It has a glass top which makes it easy to clean up or wipe down with a Clorox wipe. However with the glass top it is SUPER easy to get finger prints all over it. It comes with well written instruction that are easy to understand. We were also thrilled to see that the scale weighs up to 11 pounds and can switch easily between different weight measurements so you don't have to adjust and do the conversion in your head between grams, pounds, etc. All in all this is a great product for beginners and foodies a like.

If you would like to pick up your own Fraser Scale you can do so on Amazon for $24.99. I hope that you enjoyed this installment of What's the Deal Dreadful, until next time lovelies!

What's the Deal Dreadful? Review of Pure Body Naturals' Fractionated Coconut Oil

**Press**

    Hello Lovelies,
I am back again today with another skincare and beauty review. Today I am reviewing Pure Body Naturals Fractionated Coconut Oil.  I am a really big fan of coconut oil simply because of its' many uses. I received this product quickly and it arrived well packaged in a large clear plastic bottle. The coconut oil itself is scent free and is non greasy so it doesn't clog pores. I have used it by applying some drops on a cotton ball and removed my makeup and there is no scent and easily removes my makeup at the end of the day. I have added a couple of drops of lavender to it and created my own message oil and I have added drops into my bath water to help maintain my moisture. My husband who has dry patches on his legs uses a couple of drops and works it into his skin in order to keep his skin moisturized and nice and soft especially during the winter months. After my shower, I place a couple of drops in my palm and work it into my wet hair starting at the ends and my hair looks incredibly shiny and healthy after doing this a coupl of times a week. My daughter as wavy hair and is prone to frizz from humidity and I do the same with her hair as well and it cuts down on the frizz as well. I have used this in order to create my own sugar lip scrub and even used just as a straight moisturizer. I also use this as a "binder" when I press my loose shadows. It works wonderfully and doesn't cause mold like vegetable gylcerin in humid climates. This is a wonderful all around useful product.

If you would like to pick up your own bottle of Pure Body Naturals' Fractionated Coconut Oil you can do so on Amazon. It is $29.95 however it is currently on sale for $14.45. I hope that you have enjoyed this installment of What's the Deal Dreadful, until next time lovelies.
