Hello Lovelies!
Happy Sunday! I hope that everyone is having a good weekend. Sadly, not only do I have a stomach bug that hit this morning but I am also helping my 10 year old with his Science Fair Project. So no makeup looks for me. But I wanted to take a quick break and do a review for Petunia Skincare's Professional 12 Set Makeup Brush Kit with Travel Pouch. I am a makeup addict and I can never have too many brushes so I was looking for a travel kit to be able to take with me that I can use on trips but also convenient enough to use in my everyday makeup routine. The Petunia Skincare brushes arrived quickly in a large black box. When I opened up the box there is a vinyl black brush roll with fake alligator or crocodile patterns on the actual roll. It did have a packaging smell due to being inside the box however letting the roll sit out for a day or two let's it air out and the smell dissipates. Also inside box is a pamphlet which lists all the brushes and their uses which makes it perfect for someone who is just started getting into makeup. There were also several brush guards for the brushes so that the bristles can retain their shape after being washed which I thought was fantastic since most of the time they are sold separately. The brushes themselves are soft but also firm enough to give you good control of your makeup application however delicate enough not to irritate the sensitive skin of the eye. I have not had any issues with shedding from these brushes and I have washed and used them several times and they are still as soft as the first time I used them. I washed them with a brush shampoo and rinsed them until the suds were gone. then I allowed them to air dry on a clean towel overnight. And since these are my personal brushes I was them once a week. Since this is a travel set of brushes they are not full size however they are slightly bigger than my MAC travel size brushes. The only thing that I wished was different was that I wish that it came with another brush instead of a sponge applicator since I never use them. However that is the only things I would change. I really love this set and I think that it is not only perfect for someone who is just starting to get into makeup but also perfect for the full blown makeup addict.
If you would like to pick up your own set of Petunia Skincare's Professional 12 Set Makeup Brush Kit With Travel Pouch you can do so on Amazon. It is $89.99 however it is currently on sale for $37.77. I hope that you enjoyed this installment of What's the Deal Dreadful, until next time lovelies!

EOTD/ FOTD Series: RIche Comic Relief from a Hesistant Heroine featuring Notoriously Morbid
*purchased* *sponsored* *affiliate links*
Hello again lovelies!
What is this? TWO EOTD looks done in the same day? What kind of insanity is this? Due to my lack of makeup from last week I wanted to makeup for it with two posts today. So for my other EOTD I decided to use Notoriously Morbid since they just recently came out with a brand new duochrome collection. I also wanted to show off some of the gorgeous grey lenses I got from Uniqso as well as the lashes from the Born Pretty Store. Since I am still on a blue kick so naturally I needed to add some blue to the look and I came up with this.

| You can see the slight shifts in It's the Riche and Two Tears in a bucket in this shot. |
You can catch the duo chrome shifts in the second photo more. than the first. I loved how this look turned out and the subtle shift in the duo chromes really gives this look the finishing touch.

EOTD/ FOTD Series: Moonchild Charmed Absinthe Dragons done with Dark Heart Designs
Hello Lovelies!
Welcome back to another EOTD/ FOTD series this time featuring Dark Heart Designs! I have been on a blue kick lately so I while I really wanted to do another blue look I decided to go with green and purple look instead. Since I haven't done anything with green and purple I decided to pair the two colors with silver and black to obtain this dragon inspired look.

Born Pretty Store Reviews and Makeup Tutorial!
Hello Lovelies!
I am finally back and I am trying to go ahead and start back with writing in this blog on a regular basis as well as uploading videos to my Youtube Channel on a regular basis as well. I figured that I would go ahead and kick this off with not one, not two but three small mini reviews for items that I received from the Born Pretty Store. I picked out three different items to review for you this month from the Born Pretty Store and let's go ahead and get started!
First off I chose this nice 16 Color Shimmer Eyeshadow Palette in order to see just how vibrant the colors were. Needless to say I was impressed (as you can see from the swatches with no primer in the review video.
I also did a Spring Look tutorial with this palette with hopes that Spring would soon be here since the weather has been so horrible lately.
I used these lovely pink brushes in order to do the look. I was impressed with the quality of the brushes since not only did they hold up (and not shed) to repeated use but also washes as well. They were both soft yet firm and made from synthetic fibers (yay vegan brushes!).
Finally to round out my order I had to pick this awesome Punk Spike Leather Multi-Use Head Band since I have been dying to get one for myself . This was also amazing since it held up to a lot of wear and tear with me using it and my daughter deciding that she was going to use it while it was still on my head.

They were also kind enough to give me a discount code to share with my subscribers so go and order some really lovely products from the Born Pretty Store and use the discount code KLH10 in order to get 10% off your order!

In the Pursuit of Fabulous..Review of Zoeva Eye Definition Brush Set
Hello lovelies!
It is all ready June and Summer hasn't been to kind to me this first week. We took our little Dreadfuls to the beach this weekend and even under the umbrella slathered in SPF 50 I managed to get horrible blotchy burns on my legs, thighs and even a strange T shape burn on my forehead. Apparently the spray sunblock isn't my friend and the sun had fun frying me to crisp. And to top it all off I managed to eat something that caused the sides of my tongue to swell. So I am sure that I sound funny. =/ But the good thing is that I managed to do this review before all of this happened even though you only see my hands which were one of the few things that didn't get a strange burn pattern on them. But I have another "talking review" to edit on a pair of lenses so hopefully my allergic reaction will be gone and my sunburned face will be almost normal.
But here is my first talking product review and I wanted to do it on a set of new brushes, the Eye Definition Set from Zoeva. I used them for a little over a month in order to get a good feel for the brushes. So here is my first YouTube review!
Here is the break down of the ratings just in case you missed out on Youtube
Quality- 9.5 out of 10 bats
These brushes are soft yet firm enough to do an excellent job of applying and blending makeup and there is NO shedding.
Price-9.5 out of 10 bats
While the price has gone up since I filmed the review to 20 Euros instead of 16. I still think that these brushes are worth the money. As of right now the set is 26.13 USD but that is always subject to change with the changing market. From when I filmed the review the basically the price went up a dollar a brush. So the brushes are $4.35 a piece which is still a steal.
Shipping-9 out of 10 bats
In all fairness this is coming from Europe so I think that the time and price are really accurate. You are going to have to wait to get these brushes. They have to go through customs and come from another part of the world so you really can't complain if it takes around 2-3 to get to you. And as I mentioned in the video, shipping a package anywhere outside of the US is super expensive so I am sure that it is just as expensive to have a package shipped here from Europe.
Performance-9.8 out of 10 bats
These brushes do what they are meant to do. They apply pigments and pressed shadows beautifully.Often with too hard or too soft brushes you can't get enough or get too much pigment/shadow on the brush. These are just right.
Overall- 9.5 out of 10 bats
Zoeva has designed an amazing product with this brush set. The brushes are excellent. The price and performance of theses brushes are fantastic. Finally the shipping is reasonable. I really am pleased with these brushes and I can't wait to get my next set from them.
