What's the Deal Dreadful? Review of Advanced Hair Repair Shampoo, Conditioner and Argan Oil Hair Mask

**Press**

    Hello Lovelies,
I am trying to remain sane during this week since I have all three munchkins all day for Spring Break. So between running errands, play dates at the park and just general household stuff I am pooped. But I am back again this time with another beauty review of Advanced Hair Repair Shampoo, Conditioner and Argan Oil Hair Mask. I had read all the benefits of sulfate free shampoos and conditioners and I wanted to try it out for myself. The product arrived quickly and well packaged in it's box. The bottle itself is a large slim red cylinder shaped plastic bottle. The bottle isn't flimsy and will survive an accidental drop or two in the shower with no problem. The shampoo is colorless and has a watery gel like consistency. The shampoo itself has a fresh floral scent which isn't too overpowering and doesn't linger all day. As mentioned by other reviewers, this shampoo does get some getting used to since it is sulfate free. When I first tried the shampoo out, I was wondering where the lather was and if I had used enough so I used a little more. This shampoo does not later like sulfate shampoos since it is sulfate free and sulfates are what causes the lather. I continued with the shampoo and conditioner for the next couple of weeks and I was AMAZED at how smooth, sleek, shiny and healthy my hair was looking. Even my husband commented on how nice and shiny my hair looked and that is saying something.  I really liked the fact that it is made for all hair types so my daughter who has fine wavy hair can use it as well. I am super pleased with this shampoo and my hair has never looked so good.

This conditioner is fantastic! I love it. After using the sulfate free shampoo and noticing a difference in the lather I was wondering if there was going to be a noticeable difference in the conditioner. There wasn't and difference at all from other conditioner how to use it . The conditioner was creamy, thick, white and opaque and easy to apply and has a light floral scent that isn't too strong or overpowering. After washing my hair with the shampoo, I applied the conditioner and left it on while I continued with my shower routine. It rinsed out easily with no issues and didn't leave my hair feeling greasy or oily. It was so easy to comb through my hair without any tangles and my hair feels and looks silky smooth.

Last but not least is the Hydrating Argan Oil Mask .Surprisingly enough I have never tried a hair mask before so I wasn't sure if I was going to see a difference between using regular conditioner and trying this hair mask. The product arrived quickly and through no fault of the company the bottom of the jar arrived broken. I contacted them and they immediately sent out a replacement. The hair mask comes in a sturdy red plastic jar with a wide mouth and screw top lid which makes it easy it get to the product. The mask is white and opaque with an interesting texture. It isn't creamy nor is it gel like it is somewhat a combination of the two and it smells wonderful. It has a slight floral scent and isn't too overpowering. I followed the directions and applied this after shampooing instead of applying the conditioner and allowed it to sit on my hair for 7-8 minutes. It applied easily and I started at the tips of my hair and worked my way up since my tips had the most damage. There was no issue with it rinsing out easily and my hair is healthier than it has been in years. I continue to do this once or twice a week and my hair looks and feels great!

If you would like to pick up these products you can do so on Amazon. The shampoo is $36 however it is currently on sale for $17.99. The conditioner is also $36 but is also on sale for $17.99 . The Argan Oil Hair Mask is $40 however it is currently on sale for $16.99. I hope that you enjoyed this installment of What's the Deal Dreadful, until next time lovelies!

What's the Deal Dreadful? Review of Hair Symphony's Professional Detangling Brush and Soft Nylon Hair Brush

**Press**

    Hello Lovelies,
I am back again today with another beauty review. However this one is hair oriented which is out of the ordinary for me since but hair needs love too hence this post. I am reviewing Hair Symphony's Professional Detangling Brush and Soft Nylon Hair Brush. I have long straight hair and I am constantly having to brush and re brush my hair. My daughter on the other hand has long wavy hair and I had read that while you usually don't brush curly or wavy hair I was wondering if the detangler brush would work on her. The brushes arrived quickly and well packaged in their own special bag. The nylon brush has a nice soft handle and works itself through my hair with ease. The detangler brush is what I would say one plastic unit and it is simply AMAZING. I can't believe that I have gone this long never using one.  After a bath, I use the detangler brush on my daughter who used to fight me whenever I wanted to comb her hair. Now she goes and gets her special brush! Since she has baby fine wavy hair we only use the detangler. Since my hair is straight and thick, after a shower I used the detangler first and then finish off with the nylon brush. Both of theses brushes are extremely well made and hold up to the occasional drops from a three year old with no problem. This is a really excellent set of brushes and it is a no cry no fuss brush for my 3 year old which is a win!

If you would like to pick up your own set of  Hair Symphony's Professional Detangling Brush and Soft Nylon Hair Brush you can do so on Amazon. It is $32.25 however it is currently on sale for $16.45. I hope that you enjoyed this installment of What's the Deal Dreadful, until next time lovelies!

What's the Deal Dreadful? Review of Majestic Pure's Rosehip Oil

**Press**

      Hello Lovelies,
I am back and I am still sick. I swear this winter is out to get me. However I wanted to bring you another review while I am laid up with the plague and the oh so attractive red stuffy nose. But I wanted to share a review about Majestic Pure's Rosehip Oil. I have just recently started using essential oils in my beauty care and I was really surprised how many uses Rosehip oil has. It arrived quickly in a huge amber glass bottle with a glass eye dropper. While the name Rosehip oil did make me think that it would smell like roses. This is a warning it does not have any floral smell whatsoever. It is very earthy scent so it may not be pleasing to some people. However you can add a couple of drops of lavender essential oil to change the smell. I didn't have an issue with the smell so it didn't bother me. I used a couple of drops in my hand and worked it into my hair after a shower to give my hair some extra shine. I even used it on my daughter's hair which is naturally wavy to help tame the frizz. We did test patch on our skin before applying in large amounts in case any of us had an allergic reaction when we didn't we tried everything with it! My husband has horribly dry skin and often gets dry patches, so he has been using it on those patches to give them the extra moisture that they need. He applies it directly to the area after a bath and works it in for his best results. It also makes a great nail and cuticle oil in this horrible winter.  I even used it as a moisturizer and my skin looks amazing. This is now a staple in our household and we will be ordering more when we start to run out.

If you would like to get your own bottle of Majestic Pure's Rosehip Oil, you can pick your own bottle up on Amazon.  It is $44.95 however it is currently on sale for $21.50. I hope that you enjoyed this installment of What's the Deal Dreadful, until next time lovelies!

What the Deal Dreadful? Review of Premium Argan 100% Organic Pure Moroccan Argan Oil

*Press*

Hello Lovelies!

I am back today with a review! I was asked to review Premium Argan 100% Organic Pure Moroccan Argan Oil  and I was really excited for the opportunity. I have been wanting to branch out and review other beauty, fashion and health items for 2015 I figured I would go ahead and start early!
I had heard how beneficial Argan Oil was for hair and I really wanted to give it a try since I have really baby fine straight hair and I have always wanted super shiny hair like in the hair commericals. My hair also gets a lot of damage from the fact that I am constantly coloring it and even using various tools of hair torture on it (flat irons, curling irons, etc..)

I received a full size bottle 2oz (60ml) very quickly and it was well packaged and arrived without a problem which is always a possibility during this hellish mail time of the year. There was a mention of a light nutty smell to the oil on Amazon, but I didn't notice a distinct smell. To be honest it didn't have a smell that I could tell, which was a bonus for Mr Dreadful since he has a sensitive sniffer.

The first thing that I tried the Argan oil on was my hair. As I mentioned before it is baby fine, straight as a board and super processed. After I got out of the shower I put some oil in my hands and then I rubbed them together to warm the oil up (as per the directions) and the worked the oil in my hair starting from the tips and then up to my scalp. Now I learned the first day that a little goes a LONG way. I applied too much the first time (I used an entire dropper full) and it was too much for my hair to absorb and it looked greasy. However, the next time I applied much less, and my hair absorbed it all without looking greasy.  After a couple of days I noticed that my hair was much softer, shinier and more manageable.
See this amount? This is way too much to put in your hair. You need only just a small amount!

The bottle also mentioned that it was good on dry skin patches and it often applied on feet and on the cuticles. I won't lie my feet are horribly dry and can be quite rough in the winter. After the shower I applied the Argan Oil to Feet and then placed socks over my feet for the rest of the day. It has really made all the difference. I don't feel like I am a strange human dinosaur hybrid anymore with my super rough and dry feet. They are much softer! My cuticles are also a wreck but I have noticed a considerable difference with me applying the Argan oil a couple of times a day to my cuticles and working it in.
Mr Dreadful is a bath junkie like I am and he has stolen it a couple of times in to add a few drops into his bath and it does give an extra moisturizing boost.

Now to what you have been waiting for.. on to the ratings!

I noticed a huge difference in my skin and my hair after using it a couple of days.

Scent: 9.7 out of 10 bats
There is NO scent that I can detect with my nose which is a bonus for those of you with a sensitive sniffer in your household.

Affordability: 9.7 out of 10 bats
The price is 15.99 with Free Shipping for a 2oz (60ml) bottle. A little goes a long way and I still have plenty with a family of five using it.

Availability: 9.8 out of 10 bats
  It is available through Amazon.com.

Overall thoughts and impressions, I really like the product. I enjoyed the fact that there is a generous amount of oil to apply not only to my hair but also use it in the bath and with dry skin treatments. The Dreadful family enjoyed the fact that there was really no scent that we would pick up so there was no complaints that the smell was too strong or overpowering. It is extremely affordable for all the various uses we get out of it. Would we purchase this after we ran out of it? Yes, without a doubt. While I did receive this product for consideration to review, all thoughts are my own and I only recommend products that I would personally use and let my family use. Until next time lovelis!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
