Hello Lovelies,
I am back today with another skincare review. Today I am reviewing Azara Organic's Organic Seaweed Powder which is used for masks and wraps. I am always looking for new facial masks to try out since they are part of my skincare routine. The product arrived quickly and was well packaged. The seaweed powder arrives in a huge plastic container with a black screw top lid. The powder itself is a mossy green in color and smells of seaweed (obviously). I liked the fact that I didn't need lots of other additional ingredients in order to whip up a mask for my face. Basically I scooped a small bit of the powder and added water until I had the paste light consistency that I wanted and applied with with a flat brush all over my face. The mask itself had a cooling sensation which was really quite pleasant.I allowed the mask to sit on my face until it was dry, about 20 minutes or so since I can do other things while I am waiting for my mask to dry. After washing off the mask, my skin felt wonderful. It was soft and clean so I am really impressed. I used this product at least once a week sometimes even twice when I want to feel pampered and revitalize my skin.
If you would like to pick up your own jar of Azara Organic's Organic Seaweed Powder you can do so on Amazon. It is $59.99 however it is currently on sale for $19.99. I hope that you enjoyed this installment of What's the Deal Dreadful, until next time lovelies.

What's the Deal Dreadful? Review of Advanced Hair Repair Shampoo, Conditioner and Argan Oil Hair Mask

Hello Lovelies,
I am trying to remain sane during this week since I have all three munchkins all day for Spring Break. So between running errands, play dates at the park and just general household stuff I am pooped. But I am back again this time with another beauty review of Advanced Hair Repair Shampoo, Conditioner and Argan Oil Hair Mask. I had read all the benefits of sulfate free shampoos and conditioners and I wanted to try it out for myself. The product arrived quickly and well packaged in it's box. The bottle itself is a large slim red cylinder shaped plastic bottle. The bottle isn't flimsy and will survive an accidental drop or two in the shower with no problem. The shampoo is colorless and has a watery gel like consistency. The shampoo itself has a fresh floral scent which isn't too overpowering and doesn't linger all day. As mentioned by other reviewers, this shampoo does get some getting used to since it is sulfate free. When I first tried the shampoo out, I was wondering where the lather was and if I had used enough so I used a little more. This shampoo does not later like sulfate shampoos since it is sulfate free and sulfates are what causes the lather. I continued with the shampoo and conditioner for the next couple of weeks and I was AMAZED at how smooth, sleek, shiny and healthy my hair was looking. Even my husband commented on how nice and shiny my hair looked and that is saying something. I really liked the fact that it is made for all hair types so my daughter who has fine wavy hair can use it as well. I am super pleased with this shampoo and my hair has never looked so good.
This conditioner is fantastic! I love it. After using the sulfate free shampoo and noticing a difference in the lather I was wondering if there was going to be a noticeable difference in the conditioner. There wasn't and difference at all from other conditioner how to use it . The conditioner was creamy, thick, white and opaque and easy to apply and has a light floral scent that isn't too strong or overpowering. After washing my hair with the shampoo, I applied the conditioner and left it on while I continued with my shower routine. It rinsed out easily with no issues and didn't leave my hair feeling greasy or oily. It was so easy to comb through my hair without any tangles and my hair feels and looks silky smooth.
Last but not least is the Hydrating Argan Oil Mask .Surprisingly enough I have never tried a hair mask before so I wasn't sure if I was going to see a difference between using regular conditioner and trying this hair mask. The product arrived quickly and through no fault of the company the bottom of the jar arrived broken. I contacted them and they immediately sent out a replacement. The hair mask comes in a sturdy red plastic jar with a wide mouth and screw top lid which makes it easy it get to the product. The mask is white and opaque with an interesting texture. It isn't creamy nor is it gel like it is somewhat a combination of the two and it smells wonderful. It has a slight floral scent and isn't too overpowering. I followed the directions and applied this after shampooing instead of applying the conditioner and allowed it to sit on my hair for 7-8 minutes. It applied easily and I started at the tips of my hair and worked my way up since my tips had the most damage. There was no issue with it rinsing out easily and my hair is healthier than it has been in years. I continue to do this once or twice a week and my hair looks and feels great!
If you would like to pick up these products you can do so on Amazon. The shampoo is $36 however it is currently on sale for $17.99. The conditioner is also $36 but is also on sale for $17.99 . The Argan Oil Hair Mask is $40 however it is currently on sale for $16.99. I hope that you enjoyed this installment of What's the Deal Dreadful, until next time lovelies!

What's the Deal Dreadful? Review of La Lune Natural's Seaweed Powder and GIVEAWAY!

Hello Lovelies,
I am back with another skincare review. Today I am reviewing La Lune Natural's Seaweed Powder. I love skincare products and I am honestly a skincare junkie. I hadn't heard of using seaweed powder for skincare until I was given the opportunity to review. It arrived in a huge 8oz plastic tub filled to the brim with the seaweed powder and it also came with it's own scoop which was an added bonus for me since everything I needed was all ready there. There is an earthy smell to the powder to the product which may bother some hence I am guessing the reason why the company suggests different essential oils in the recipes they share to mask the smell. It didn't bother me when I used it for a mask, but I can see where it would bother others. The company also sent a 20 page ebook filled with recipes on how to use the seaweed powder which was a great help since I had never used it before. However the recipes all had additional ingredients most of which I had such as aloe vera gel ,honey, olive oil. The recipes also use a lot of essential oils which you can leave out and still use the rest of the ingredients. I have tried several of the mask recipes and my skin feels soft and silky afterwards. I haven't had a chance to try out the wraps due to time constraints with little ones however it is next on my list.
If you would like to pick up your own jar of La Lune Natural's Seaweed Powder you can do so on Amazon. It is $29.99 but is currently on sale for $14.99. Wanting your own jar of Seaweed powder but money is tight? Then enter in my contest below to try to win your own!

What's the Deal Dreadful? Review of Majestic Pure Indian Healing Clay

Hello Lovelies!
I am back again with a review of Majestic Pure's Indian Healing Clay. I am a skincare addict. I especially love masks since I can essentially apply the mask and continue on with what I need to do while it is drying. So when I head the opportunity to review this Indian Healing Clay I was excited. The clay arrives in a large white plastic container and is filled to the rim with the Indian clay powder. So you will need to be careful when opening it not to get clay powder everywhere. I left the lid closed and tapped on the top and the side to help dislodge any clay that may have been stuck to the side. I followed the directions as used three parts water to one part clay and mixed it into a paste. I was a little watery so I may have added too much water so I added a little more clay until I got the consistency that I wanted. I also followed the suggestions to not mix the clay in a metal bowl or with a metal spoon. The mask made my skin feel wonderful! I left it on longer than the 20 minutes without any side effects and when I washed it off my skin felt incredible. My skin felt clean and even my pores looked better which I was really surprised over. Afterwards I then apply a toner, my serum and finally my moisturizer for the full pampered skin treatment.

If you would like to pick up your own jar of Majestic Pure's Indian Healing Clay you can do so on Amazon. It is $22.99 however it is currently on sale for $12.95. I hope that you enjoyed this installment of What's the Deal Dreadful! Until next time lovelies!
