Hello Lovelies,
I am back with another healthy living review. Mr Dreadful and I have been trying out various things in order to get healthier. We also wanted something to do together so we can help keep each other motivated. So when we had the opportunity to review the Dance Crazy Dance Starter Kit DVD we were thrilled. Okay, well maybe I was excited and there was a raised eyebrow and possibly some questioning of my sanity from Mr Dreadful. But this was something we could do together. Both my husband and I have two left feet and dancing has never really been something that we did. However, my husband mentioned how much he liked swing so we decided to try this dvd collection out. We are working on a healthier and active lifestyle and so we figured that attempting dance lessons with this dvd would also count as a cardio workout. The dvd arrived quickly and was well packaged. Inside there wasn't one dvd like I was expecting for 4 DVDs that each focused on an individual style of dance. We loved the fact that the DVDs started out with the basics for people like us who don't know how to dance. We loved it that it taught us the basics at our own speed and from multiple angles so we could see exactly what was going on. Not to mention we could always pause and rewinds as many times as we wanted to in order to get the step just right. While we have a long way to go before we are even close to not stepping on each other's feet, we love it and are continuing with this until we get it right.
If you would like to pick up your own copy of Dance Crazy's Dance Starter Kit Dvd you can do so on Amazon. It is $69.95 and it is currently on sale for $24.95. I hope that you enjoyed this installment of What's the Deal Dreadful, until next time lovelies!

Sailor Moon Crystal EOTD Series: Is that a Cat with a Crescent Moon?
*Purchased*
Hello Lovelies!
I am back again with another Sailor Moon Crystal inspired look. I am completely obsessed with Sailor Moon all over again while I am waiting for the second episode to make an appearance on Hulu. I am thinking of rewatching the original but that would interrupt my binge watching Orange Is The New Black.
But I was inspired to do the characters either before or when they appeared so obviously Luna needed some love. Because who doesn't love a talking cat with a crescent moon that transforms you into a Sailor Scout?
I also wanted to participate in the Darling Girl Tutorial Giveaway so I decided to do a pictorial for this look...
1. I first put my A Max Red Circle lenses in from Uniqso (use code "dreadfullydivine" for 10% your order)
2. Then I primed my eye with Lunatick Cosmetic Labs Primer
3. I applied Darling Girl (DG)Cosmetics D'Lilac Sun in the brow area and a small amount of Nightwatch in the inner corner of my lower lash line
4. Next I applied (DG) Chick Flick all over the lid
5. I placed (DG) Mistress in the crease
6. Next I placed (DG) The Count over Mistress
7. Then I blended the colors into one another
8. I touched up the colors after blending in order to make the colors more defined and added London Calling to the other portion of my lower lash line
9. I lined my upper lid with my to go cat eye liner
10. I also lined my waterline with white and then patted (DG) Obviously A Wig on top of it. Then I placed a small amount on the lid and added a mixing medium to it and created a metallic pink purple liner.
11. I drew on my brows and then added the Crescent moon with Wolfe Fx Essential Palette.
Here is a collage of the finished look as well...
I had a lot of fun creating this look and stay tuned for more Sailor Moon Crystal inspired eye of the days. Be sure to check out Darling Girl Cosmetics. You can also find her on Facebook and their fangroup here. Until next time lovelies!

A few FOTD/ EOTD done with Candii Blossom Cosmetics
![]() |
This what I would consider more of a neutral eye look with a pop of color.
![]() |
Oh how I love the dramatic looks. ..
For the eyes I used Candii Blossom Cosmetic's : Fluff, Fairyland Green (I am in love with that shade), Angel Eyes, Atlantis, Intergalatic, Purple Rain, Skikomi and Maiko (foiled for the golden dots).
The lenses are from Pinky Paradise (see the links on the side to take you directly to the page) and the lashes were from the Born Pretty Store (used coupon code KLH10 for 10% off your order from them).
I even have a full face photo of this look (sadly I have chronic RBF so I always look angry. >.<)

EOTD/FOTD Series: Notoriously Morbid Part One
Hello lovelies!
I am back with another installment of the EOTD (eye of the day)/ FOTD (face of the day) Series. Today I am sharing my look done with Notoriously Morbid. I just recently finished up my review of Notoriously Morbid which can be found here. So needless to say they are one of my new favorite indie companies. Lately we have been the plague house with my three little Dreadfuls being sick and then they managed to share strep with me. So I have literally not put any makeup on my face for about a week. Hence I needed to do something bright and colors after resembling a shambling snot zombie from the Walking Dead. I know such an attractive mental picture. But in all honestly I did look like poop for seven days so I needed something blue and pretty to remind me of the nice warm water at the beach (where I slather SPF 50 on to prevent me resembling anything like a boiled lobster) and the result was this. I even managed to do a makeup tutorial for this look which I am in the process of editing however Mr Dreadful is sick and my three Dreadfuls are home for Spring Break so my quiet computer time is non existent.Once the editing is complete I will add the video link to this post. But enough blathering on to the actual collage..
For this look I used Snow Queen's Return, Jupiter Rain, Douglas Firs , Snow's Fury, Morgana (under the lower lashline and foiled to make this KICK ASS electric blue eyeliner!!) and Goodbye Sweetie. I am so in love with Morgana foiled! It is gorgeous dry but foiled really makes it pop! I now have an obsession to foil all of my Notoriously Morbid shadows. Well it is a bit to quiet and I need to check on my patient (Mr Dreadful) so until next time lovelies...
**Update! Here is the link to the video tutorial for this look. I swear that when I am doing my makeup for videos it looks like a hot mess during the process but in the end it comes together nicely.. Thanks to Alisa for giving me a name for this look.**

I'm ALIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello lovelies!
Just a quick note to let you know that I am still alive and kicking in spite of what the universe may have tried to do to me the past couple of months. I am horribly sorry for the inactivity lately and I have missed blogging and vlogging and I am anxious to get back to it. Apparently when things happen, EVERYTHING happen all at once. For those of you who follow my FB know that my Dreadful dog decided to eat something plastic and it got lodged in his intestine which resulted in emergency surgery in order to remove the blockage. A very expensive surgery since there really is NO insurance for Dreadful dogs.
Then, the Dreadful household became ground zero for the plague which made me wonder if my little Dreadfuls were attempting to pay the pediatrician's mortgage, utilities and the staff's paychecks with all the various viruses that ran around the house. But since it seems that the worst is over I am finally able to get back to blogging and vlogging. Just a sneak peek at what is in store: I have makeup reveiws and tutorials, circle lens reviews, nail polish tutorials, Pink Weekend Haul, Wig reviews and Cosplay wig and makeup 101 guides! I will also be starting an on going series in 2014 which will help you stretch your wallet as well as your beauty supplies at the same time. So please stay tuned and until next time lovelies!

In the Pursuit of Fabulous- Review of KimChi Mermaid Blue lenses from Uniqso and Purple Starlight Makeup Tutorial
Hello again lovelies!
I am back this time with a quick review of the KimChi Mermaid Blue circle lenses from Uniqso. I could have sworn that I wrote this post to go along with the uploaded video with these gorgeous lenses however it seems to have disappeared. Computer Gremlins are hungry apparently. O.o But this is actually going to be a two for one posting. Not only do I have the review of the lovely lenses seen below but I also have the makeup tutorial as well!
The Review:
And here is a makeup tutorial done with these gorgeous lenses:
Now on with the ratings..
Enlargement- 9 out of 10 bats
As I mentioned in the video review that theses lenses are 16mm which does enlarge your eyes quite a bit. You can tell a definite difference when you put them in. They give you a nice dolly or big eye look without being creepy or alien like that some can do .
Color and Design -9.5 out of 10 bats
I REALLY love the color and design of these theses. They are a lovely shade of dark blue with slivers of purple and black throughout. As you can tell with the close up picture it really has a unique pattern which reminds me of water ripples so I think that the brand being called mermaid is quite fitting. While these lenses are two toned which isn't a smooth transition from your natural eye color as some three to four toned lenses. But they aren't a jarring transition from my natural eye color to the lens. Now my natural eye color is a dark brown so sadly they aren't as striking across the room as they would be up close but for someone with lighter eyes they would be amazing!
Comfort-9 out of 10 bats
These lenses are quite comfortable throughout the entire day which usually runs around 8-10 hours for me. I can pop them in and not have to worry about them drying my eyes out like some lenses can which I attribute to their high water content. I would suggest that if you have dry eyes be sure to carry around drops if you plan on wearing them longer than 6 hours.
Overall- 9.3 out of 10 bats
These lenses are simply amazing. These lenses have fantastic enlargement and will give you a nice dolly eye effect. The color and design is gorgeous. While they claim to be two toned the contrast between the dark blue with slivers of purple and black remind me of rippling water. They are lovely against my dark eyes and will be even more striking against those of you with lighter eyes. The comfort is phenomenal, I can wear theses lenses for 8 hours without them drying out my eyes unlike some other lenses. These lenses are gorgeous enough for every day wear and cosplay so you really can't go wrong.
So that is it for now! Be sure to use code "ddivine10" to get 10% off your order from Uniqso.
Until next time lovelies,

In the Pursuit of Fabulous- Glitter Brow tutorial featuring Lit Cosmetics Glitter and Kawayii lenses from Uniqso.
Hello again lovelies!
It is August and the weather is finally pretty here with less than two weeks until school starts for two of my little Dreadfuls. I am feeling much better (still not 100%) but I think that this stomach bug is finally on the way out. So I was able to edit another video from the vault and upload it today. Originally I was going to upload a circle lens review on some gorgeous pink lenses but the video was so shaky that I couldn't do it. If it made me want to throw up editing, I know that it will make people sick watching it so it looks like I am doing a new review of those lenses tonight with possibly a tutorial. So instead of the circle lens review I did upload my requested glitter brow tutorial.
I didn't speed the time up since I was actually talking in this tutorial so I do have to apologize for the time. However if you are interested in the products used in this tutorial, here is the list
Lit Cosmetics glitter "Trend" in S3 and glitter adhesive
Kawayii (EOS) Super Big Eye lenses in Purple and Green from Uniqso.
Be sure to use the code "ddivine10" to get 10% off your order.
I hope that you all enjoy this tutorial and quick blog update. Until next time lovelies!

Gentle Tardis Tutorial Featuring Geek Chic Cosmetics and Max Sherbert Lenses from Kiwiberry-1
Hello lovelies!
I am back after a little bit of a rough month. As some of you may know that I recently lost everything on my computer including pictures, swatches, tutorials that I had in the works. Not to mention all the personal photos of the Dreadful family. So in all honesty, I was really bummed about it so it took me some time to get motivated again to redo EVERYTHING. But things weren't going to get done on their own and I needed to stop moping about it. So I am back with a new tutorial done slide show style on YouTube. This is the last slide show style tutorial I am doing and the newest one which I just got finished filming is all live. O.O So as soon as this tutorial is done I am going to work on editing the newest tutorial and the finishing the review for the Geek Chic Cosmetics which were the featured brand for this tutorial. So on with the tutorial..
Here is the complete list of products I used with links to the actual items...
I am wearing the EOS Max Sherbert Lenses in Blue from Kiwiberry-1 Collection. You can click on the link in the side bar and it will take you right there (or the link above) and be sure to use the code "dreadfullydivine" to get 15% off your order.

Sexy in Suspenders, Bigger on the Inside , and We Are Coming from the Timey Wimey Collection.
Finally I used Cyclopean from the Strange Aeons Collection.

Stay tuned for the Geek Chic Cosmetics Review!
Until next time my dears..

Review of Classy Chick Cosmetics.
Hello Lovelies!
I just recently ventured into the YouTube realm with some slide tutorials. However since I do a good portion of my makeup reviews and tutorials at night since my little Dreadfuls are sleeping so I need to purchase some daylight bulbs for filming. So until then, I have to stick to slideshow videos and written reviews. I will still continue this blog to supplement the tutorials and reviews since most of the videos we be rather short. But anyways, I just did a tutorial (which can be found here ) featuring a company called Classy Chick Cosmetics and here is the review to go along with tutorial.
Classy Chick Cosmetics is an independent makeup company based off of Etsy. It is one woman operation run out Taylor, Michigan by a lovely lady named Cassidy. The company specializes in mainly eye and lip products but she is venturing into the nail department with five new polishes that scheduled to be released and a variety of colored nail beads. Here are some swatches of her gorgeous colors.
While I love seeing swatches of pigment colors, I also want to see the makeup "put to work" in a look. So I did just that and here are some looks created with the pigments.
And now on with the ratings..
Color Variety-9 out of 10 bats
As an independent company, Classy Chick keeps a nice stock of colors with several collections available. She has a nice balance of bold and neutral colors to make everyone happy. She also has a couple of individual pressed shadows and two quad palettes.
Color Pigmentation-9 out of 10 bats
The pigmentation of her products really amazed me. Like most people, when opening up a lighter color I tend to think that I am going to have to really layer it on for the lighter color to be just a bold as the darker ones. Not with these pigments. The lighter colors are just as pigmented as their bolder and darker counterparts. There is just the right balance of shimmer and matte in these shades and one doesn't overpower the other.
Affordability-9 out of 10 bats
I have to say that Classy Chick Cosmetics is very affordable. Her pigments run $6.00 per pigment in a 5 gram jar which is about average on Etsy. Her glosses range from $6.00 to $9.00 depending on the packaging that you chose. Her quad palettes are $25 whether if you pick from one of the two collection palettes or a create you own palette. So overall , I think that the quality is definitely worth the price listed.
Overall-9 out of 10 bats
Classy Chick Cosmetics is another one of the up and coming independent cosmetic companies. Her color variety is excellent catering to both the bright and bold makeup lovers and the die heart neutral fanatics. The color pigmentation is excellent no matter if the color is light and shimmer or darker and more matte. Finally the price just can't be beat for the quality of makeup that you are receiving. I am extremely pleased with my makeup from Classy Chick and I look forward to see what she has in store for the future.
If you want to purchase from Classy Chick Cosmetics you can do so from here.
You can also find Classy Chick on Facebook and her up to date specials and sneak peeks at collection here.
You can also see my tutorial using Classy Chick Cosmetics here.

Sultry Sunrise Tutorial featuring Classy Chick Cosmetics and Barbie Forest Three Toned Lenses in Blue from Uniqso
Hello lovelies!
Things have been really busy this past week in the Dreadful household. My littlest Dreadful turned two, our puppy got fixed, our keyboard died and our hard drive crashed causing us to loose everything. Mr Dreadful hopes to attempt to recover our stuff however I am really not that hopeful with our current computer luck. I did have several tutorials saved and ready for the editing process so that is a really disappointed. However I did do another tutorial yesterday of my look featuring Barbie Forest 3 Tones Blue Lenses from Uniqso and Classy Chick Cosmetics. I am venturing into YouTube so all of my tutorials will be posted there as well as here in the future. So enough chattering on with the tutorial!
So please be sure to rate, comment and subscribe to my channel. There will be live tutorials in the future to help with the process however I need to possibly get a lamp and a makeup mirror since I do most of my tutorials at night and the lighting isn't the best.
Here is a list of items that I used for the tutorial from Classy Chick Cosmetics:
Shady Lady Pigment
Butter Me Up Pigment
Sunny Spot Pigment
Super Nova Pigment
Marilyn Monroe Lip Glaze
Just click on the link and it will take you to her store. Here is the review on their products.
If you want a pair of your own Barbie Forest 3 Tone Circle lenses or just a pair of circle lenses in general click on the Uniqso icon in my sidebar and it will take to you the page. Be sure to enter the special coupon code ddivine10 to receive 10% off your order!

In the Pursuit of Fabulous- Dark Peacock Makeup Tutorial with Glama Girl Cosmetics.
I am back again this time with a new makeup tutorial which I call, Dark Peacock. I love seeing blue, green, purple and gold together. It is one of my favorite color combinations ever. So when I won Glama Girl Cosmetics new Africa 650 palette and they sent me their Vegas collection with it I needed to create a look with these gorgeous colors. For those of you who are circle lens addicts like I am I am wearing EOS J203 Adult Blue lenses from Kiwiberry-1 Collection. So let's get started!
You will need your favorite moisturizer (eye and face), Too Face Eyeshadow Insurance, NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk, Glama Girl Cosmetic Africa 650 Palette , Glama Girls Vegas collection (which isn't out just yet but when it is I will update with a link directly to it), your favorite black eyeliner (I use MAC Khol), your favorite black liquid liner (I use MAC's Liquid last cause it isn't going anywhere!), your favorite mascara and some lashes (if you prefer).

Glama Girl's Vegas Stacker
Step One: Put your circle lenses or contacts in first (if you are wearing lenses) since you don't want to have your eyes water after your finish with your look. If you aren't wearing lenses skip this step obviously. ^_~ Apply your favorite moisturizer to your face and eyes and allow to dry. When your eyes are dry apply your primer. I use Too Faced Eye Shadow Insurance, it is my go to primer of choice. I love the stuff. Then apply NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk and blend into the eye both above and below.

Prep and Prime your eye
Step Two: Take the silver shimmer color from the Vegas Stacker from Glama Girl's Vegas collection, color number one, and apply to just under your brows (or where they should be). If you don't have the stacker any really light shimmery silver color will do.
Apply your highlight
Step Three: Apply the blue shadow marked number two from the Africa 650 Palette from Glama Girls on the outer and inner portion of your eye and about half way under your bottom lashes. If you don't have the palette any nice matte blue would work.

Apply the blue
Step Four: Take the green shadow marked number 3 on the Africa palette and apply in the middle of two blue areas on the top lid. A nice matte kelly green color would work instead if you don't have the palette. Also be sure to apply the green under your lashes to where the green begins on the inner part of your upper lid.

Apply the Green
Step Five: Apply the matte black, number 4, from the Africa palette on top of the green and blue on your upper lid and at the outer corner of your eye so that the black is cupping the color. Don't worry if the black doesn't seem dark enough we will add more later.

Apply the Black
Step Six: Apply the matte yellow marked number 5 on the palette under your eye near your tear duct. Then with a small rounded brush or your finger place a dab of the golden shimmery pigment also marked number 5 from the Vegas stacker in the middle of the green shadow and carefully blend out the colors. When I am working with really bright and vivid colors close together that I don't want to get lost in each other I carefully blend the edges with a Q-tip since it is small and precise. I can control the blending better than with some of my favorite brushes. Go back and apply the colors as needed after you blend the look out to your preference. Take a makeup wipe and clean up any fallout to make the look neater.

Apply your yellow and gold
Step Seven: Apply your favorite mascara and then line your bottom waterline with your favorite black khol pencil. Set the pencil with a black eye shadow using an angled brush. Line the top of your eyes with black liquid liner.

Step Eight: Fill in (or draw in as in my case) your brows. You can stop here or you can apply some false lashes and your done!

In the Pursuit of Fabulous- St Patrick's 0Day inspired look tutorial with Green Circle Lenses
Hello lovelies!
I am back again this time with a St. Patrick's Day inspired look tutorial. While everyone claims to be somewhat Irish on St. Patrick's Day for free green beer, this green and gold look will show off your festive side even if you aren't Irish. No St. Patrick's Day look would be complete for me and my circle lens addiction without green eyes so I am wearing GEO XTRA WIA23 in Green from Uniqso. If you are looking for lenses click the icon in my sidebar to receive 10% off your purchase. Simple as that. ^_~
Here is what I used for the look: Moisturizer, Manly 120 Palette, Nyx Jumbo Pencil in Milk, Black Gel Eyeliner (your choice I used MAC since that is what I have on hand), Your favorite mascara, Red Cherry Lashed #20, Black liquid eyeliner (or you can use the Gel if you prefer) and Theodora Glitter and Glitter adhesive from Lit Cosmetics. While any gold cosmetic glitter will work please note that the key word is COSMETIC. Please for anything that you hold dear do not use craft glitter anywhere near your face and especially your eyes! If you don't have glitter adhesive eyelash glue spread thinly over the area will work as well.
Let's get started!
Step One: Apply moisturizer all over the eye area and wait until absorbed. Then apply Too Face Shadow Insurance primer all over the lid to the brow bone and under the lash line. Afterwards apply NYX jumbo pencil in milk over the same area and blend in.
Step Two: Take a thin brush (I use a cheap synth brush from an artist brush pack at Walmart) and apply the black gel liner starting at the outer corner of your eye to the inner corner. The thicker you make it the more dramatic it will be. Don't worry if it isn't perfect you are going to blend this out.
Step Three: Take an angled brush and dip it into the black shadow and gently blend upwards in short strokes. By blending upwards you still have the cut crease. Apply the color marked 1 on the palette under your brow as a highlight and blend down to blend the two colors together.
Step Four: Apply the matte yellow color marked number 2 on the palette above and apply it to about the middle of your eye. Be sure to apply it both on the lid and under your bottom lashes to tie in the look.
Step Five: Apply the matte kelly green marked number 3 on the palette slightly overlapping the yellow to the almost the outside of your lid. Do the same to the bottom under the lashes as well.
Step Six: Add the dark forest green marked number 4 on the palette to the remaining portion of the eye slightly overlapping the kelly green. Do the same thing under the lashes as well.
Step Seven: Blend, blend, blend those colors to get a nice gradient effect. I use a Q-tip to blend when I am doing a cut crease so I am careful not to blend the crease. Apply glitter adhesive or a thin layer of lash glue over the yellow portion of the shadow and add Theodora or gold glitter (cosmetic grade only! please) on top and bottom. Wipe away any fallout you may have with a makeup wipe. If you don't have or don't care for glitter you can skip this portion (after the blending of course) and go straight on to step eight.
Step Eight: Take your favorite liquid eyeliner (or you can use the gel liner you used for your cut crease if you prefer) and line the top of your eye. Line your waterline with your favorite black eyeliner (pencil or gel) and set with black eye shadow using an angled brush. Fill in (or draw in) your brows and add lashes. I used Red Cherry Lashes #20
You are done and you look fabulous! I hope that you enjoyed this tutorial and if you have any requests feel free to leave them below. Be sure to click on the links (in purple) listed at the beginning of the tutorial for the lenses or to check out Uniqso. Until next time my dears...
