Mani Monday! Not one but two polishes from Ruby White Tips!

Hello lovelies!
  I am back again from a crazy weekend filled with visiting out of town friends, meeting my new godson, dress hunting and outlet shopping. Needless to say I am dead on my feet but on a brighter note my nails look simply fabulous! This weekend I couldn't decide on what nail polish to wear so I actually wore two different ones from Ruby White Tips. She has a Mystery Box special that is going on her Etsy site right now and I picked up one with her special KP lotion (which another review is coming for that one) and I was blown away by the colors I received. I was super happy since I was wanting to try both of these polishes and the mystery polish extra which is a one of a kind and is simply gorgeous but I won't post it since it wouldn't be fair to show a pretty that you can't order.
  The first one I quickly painted on my nails which made my three year old daughter ohhh and ahhh and tell me that my nails were "boo-tifull" was Don't Open Dead Inside. While she doesn't have the appreciation of the Walking Dead like we do, I do have to say that she does have a good appreciation of an amazing nail polish. This gorgeous color is a lovely metallic like purple with a blue sheen depending on the light.

The next polish I need to grace my nails with was Misfit Toys. Misfit Toys is what I would call a metallic chameleon polish. It is a multi shifter which makes my little gothic heart flutter with delight since it is always something different depending on the light and angle. While there was no way that I could capture all the shifts I attempted to give this polish some sort of justice with the images below.

I love how metallic looking both of theses polishes are.

Needless to say I am super impressed again with these two polishes that I received from Ruby White Tips. I was also super thrilled to learn that these two polishes are not only 5 free but also vegan which is a really awesome choice for vegans looking for amazing nail polish. Mani Tuesday? The Burlesque Collection from Gothic Gala Lacquers Part 3

   Welcome to Mani Tuesday? I know, I am a day late due the fact that my soon to be father in law decided to take it upon himself to invite himself down to visit us with almost no notice. -_- But thankfully our unwanted house guest is gone and now I can get back to blogging on a regular schedule since I am so behind. The winner for the YT/blog portion of my Lit Kit Giveaway is going to be uploaded tomorrow so stay tuned for that as well. But on to the second part of the Burlesque collection from Gothic Gala Lacquers. Seriously take a look at these last four polishes...

Sassy Citrine

 Sassy Citrine is a lovely matte golden yellow which is a lovely summer yellow without the super glam of a gold polish.

Gypsy Rose Lee

 A lovely shiny medium pink polish with a hint of holo. This pink has a pretty shiny finish.

Krystal Sparkle

 Krystal Sparkle is a lovely  shimmery sparkly top coat with an opal like sheen which is perfect for a light spring summer look. It can be worn by itself or on top of another color in order to give it an additional depth.

Opal Jamila

Finally last but not least is Opal Jamilia which is a nice matte white with a hint of silver glitter throughout to give it additional depth. This is perfect by itself , paired with Krystal Sparkle or even with the pastel lipstick trend. 

I really loved this collection and I liked the nice combination of both matte and shiny finishes on the polishes. I also like how this collection has a little bit of everything for everyone. Mani Monday featuring another sneak peek at The Burlesque Collection from Gothic Gala Lacquers!

   I am back again this Mani Monday with not one but TWO sneak peeks from the new Burlesque Collection from Gothic Gala Lacquers. May was a completely chaotic month which has put be behind on posts and reviews so in order to makeup up for it I wanted to give you something special with showing you two of the lovely polishes instead of one. Today I am featuring Perle Noir , a lovely blurple holo, that is super pigmented so much that you honestly only have to use one regular coat.

Just look at this gorgeous color!

Seriously this blurple color is simply gorgeous. The strength of the blue or the purple depends on which way the light falls on your nails. It is a gorgeous holo that does dry matte which is nice change than most of the glossy holos. However if you do desire the glossy holo look just add a nice shiny top coat.

Next is Lili St Cyr, a lighter green holo, whose color that reminds me of newly sprouting grass. It seems to have a slight yellow hue that makes it brighter than most greens I have seen.  This one I added Seche Vite fast drying top coat when I applied this, her polishes do dry fast however I was strapped for time. Take a look at this lovely green!

  

You can see the hint of gold/yellow when the light hits it just right.

Mani Monday featuring Dannie Diesel from Gothic Gala Lacquers' new Burlesque Collection *sneak peak*

   Happy Memorial Day for all of you US based lovelies and welcome back to another installment of Mani Mondays. This time featuring an awesome sneak peak of  Dannie Diesel from Gothic Gala Lacquers' new burlesque inspired collection. I can't tell you what a gorgeous almost metallic blue this color is with just a touch of holo to give it some extra sparkle without drag queens and disco balls trying to descend from the ceiling when sunlight hits your nails (which is always fabulous). Seriously look at all this gorgeousness!

Mani Monday: Lilac Dreams from Gothic Gala Lacquers

   I am back again with another edition of Mani Monday! Sorry this is being published so late but Mr Dreadful is home sick with a sinus infection and NOTHING beauty gets done in a timely fashion with a sick hubby and kids out of school.However I did manage to steal away a post this! This time I am featuring the amazing thermal polish, Lilac Dreams from Gothic Gala Lacquers. I originally came across this lovely company when I was looking for thermal polishes on Etsy. (* The store has since moved off Etsy and on to it's own website.) Then she became on of the sponsors for one of my giveaways on Facebook and Samantha, the owner, was lovely enough to sponsor the winner's choice of polishes.  So when she recently had a buy 2 get a polish free sale I decided to jump in and make a purchase. I chose Lilac Dreams obviously since it was a thermal (color changing) purple. When the package arrived, I was so happy I immediately had to paint my nails with the thermal cause I am like a 3 year old when it comes to thermals. So you will have to forgive the fact that my nails haven't been clean up cause I couldn't wait to take pictures.

It is a lovely matte almost pearly lilac when first applied.

But off course then I had to immediately dunk my nails and ice water to see if I could catch the color shift..

You can see the mid change  from dark to light purple 

You can see the gorgeous dark purple from the ice water on the tips. 

Needless to say, I love thermals and I love purple so this the perfect combination of both. I really liked the matte pearl like finish and I surprisingly enough chose not to put a glossy top coat on this gorgeous polish. If you are interested in purchasing it you can do so on the site.
