What's the Deal Dreadful? Review of Azure Naturals Ultimate Retinol Lime Infused Organic Moisturizer

*Press*

Hello Lovelies,
I am back today with another review of a new product, Azure Naturals Ultimate Retinol Lime Infused Organic Moisturizer. I was sent this product to in return for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own and I would never recommend anything that I wouldn't use myself. I received it through Amazon and their shipping is always first rate. The bottle contains 1.7 oz of moisturizer and a little goes a long way!

I have always been a little weary of using products with retinol since it can have the tendecy to dry your skin out.  However, this moisturize doesn't. It has all the benefits of retinol without any of the adverse drying out. The moisturizer is lightweight, creamy and absorbs quickly without any oily residue left over. It has a nice hint of lime which isn't overpowering or to citrus smelling. Which is a bonus since super citrus scents makes me think of house cleaners and this does not.

I have noticed a decrease in my fine lines, which are always magnified a MILLION times when taking eye shadow swatches and makeup looks.  I also noticed that there was a general overall firming and tightening of my skin and neck area.  It can be applied both morning and night and worn under makeup without any issues. However I do recommend wearing an SPF with this or staying out of the direct sun since you may be more prone to sunburn. However this isn't much of an issue even in Florida during December. But I would take extra care during the summer months or wear a hat. I also would recommend doing a small patch test first to make sure that you don't have an allergic reaction to anything.  Due to the small amount used, cause a little does go a long way, this bottle is going to last me a while. I am eager to see the outcome when I am done.

Ingredients:
Organic Aloe Vera, Organic Sunflower Oil, Palm Oil, Pentylene Glycol, Phospholipids, Retinol, Polysorbate 20, Potassium Phosphate, Vitamin E (Tocopheryl), Botanical Hyaluronic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate,Cetyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Kosher Vegetable Glycerin, Organic Jojoba Oil, Wildcrafted Green Tea, Wildcrafted Resina Propoli, Shea Butter, Vitamin B5 (Panthenol), Phenoxyethanol, Ethylhexyl Glycerin, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Lime Oil, Lavender Oil

This is made in the United States and contains no parabens or GMO's. It is plant based, cruelty free and never tested on animals which is fantastic! They also offer a 365 Day Money Back Guarantee, so if you don't like the product you can return it. Hassle Free.  You can pick this up via Amazon right HERE

Mani Monday: Wibbley Wobbley Timey Whimey with Drunken Doctor Stamping!

*Purchased*

Hello Lovelies!
I am back with another Mani Monday post and this one is one of my favorites! Why do you ask?
Simply because not only is it a gorgeous polish from Lucky 13 Lacquer but it also has an amazing theme! And what is that theme (as if the title didn't give you a clue)?

DR WHO!!

Who hasn't?!?!

I love Dr Who, I remember watching the classics when I was younger however with the "reboot" of the series starting with Ninth Doctor, Christopher Eccleston, I was hooked.

Sign me up! Let me pack my bags, makeup and polish and I am ready!
I was concerned when it switched to David Tennant but I loved his portral too..

Yes, yes you are..

I could go on and on with my love for the good Doctor and I how I want to travel away in a magical blue box, but you came here to see nails and nails are what you are going to get.

Seriously, you will say the same thing after seeing this polish!

Seriously, just look at this polish!!
I wanted to add an older swatch of the polish itself so you can take in the full extent of it's awesomeness

While my cuticles are looking up my stamping, well...
I used the following this for this awesome themed mani:
Opi's Nail Strengthening Base Coat
Lucky 13 Lacquer 's Wibbley Wobbly Timey Wimey
Vapid Lacquer's  Get Your Shine  On Fast Drying Topcoat
Pure Ice Superstar!
Creative Design's Stamper * (You can only pick this up through a group purchase I have included the link)
JR 31 Stamping Plate

While it is true that my stamping needs some help since the Tardis looks seriously drunk on my nail I had to share this mani with you.

Even the Doctor agrees that my stamping needs some work but the polish is FABULOUS!

You can pick up Wibbley Wobbly Timey Wimey polish from Lucky 13 Lacquer. You can also follow her on Facebook, join her Facebook Fangroup, and of course on Instagram. Are you a Dr Who Fan? If so who is your favorite Doctor? I am tied between Eccleston (since he is my first Doctor) and Tennant. So until next time lovelies! Paint your nails and watch Dr. Who!

They All Float while Black Cats Cross Stripper Zombies on the Ladder to Hell with the Book of Honorious and The Necronomicon...

*Purchased*

Hello Lovelies!

I am back again with another EOTD look! For this look I am using some Notoriously Morbid goodies. Notoriously Morbid had a really amazing Halloween Limited Edition (as well as an resurrection sale for old shadows on Halloween) that came out which I managed to get my hands on. But I wasn't able to able to really play with the gorgeous colors today.

I know Ash, can you believe that it took me this long to do a look with them?
I know that is almost sacrilegious especially when they had a shadow called Necronomicon. Which being a massive Lovecraft and EvilDead/Army of Darkness Fan I knew I had to have the collection.
The shadow is just as awesome as this movie....and of course seriously LOVECRAFT!
I also got a sample of the new product, Shadow Bind, that is releasing in January in my order as well.
Damn straight Ash, it is FUCKING Groovy!
The Shadow Bind literally transformed these shadows from beautiful to FUCKING gorgeous. Don't worry there will be a review about this product later. But enough chattering, on to the look!

I used the following products for this look:
Notoriously Morbid (NM) Shadow Bind * (releases in January)
NM They All Float
NM Black Cat Crossing
NM Ladder to Hell
NM Stripper Zombie
NM Book of Honorius ** (Halloween Limited Edition)
NM Necronomicon ** ( Halloween Limited Edition )

Normally these shadows have a nice and pretty sparkle, but combined the with Shadow Bind it kicked it up 10 notches.

That was my face right there staring at my eye with the Shadow Bind..
So seriously lovelies, even IF you missed the Halloween Limited Edition Set you still can get the other shadows and put them over Shadow Bind. If you want to pick up anything from Notoriously Morbid you can do so here. You can also follow then on Facebook, the Facebook Fanbook Page, and of course Instagram. And if you don't mind please head up to the top and rate this post! ^_~  So until next time lovelies, stay groovy and watch the original Evil Dead and Evil Dead 2 cause Bruce Campbell is the man.

What the Deal Dreadful? Review of Premium Argan 100% Organic Pure Moroccan Argan Oil

*Press*

Hello Lovelies!

I am back today with a review! I was asked to review Premium Argan 100% Organic Pure Moroccan Argan Oil  and I was really excited for the opportunity. I have been wanting to branch out and review other beauty, fashion and health items for 2015 I figured I would go ahead and start early!
I had heard how beneficial Argan Oil was for hair and I really wanted to give it a try since I have really baby fine straight hair and I have always wanted super shiny hair like in the hair commericals. My hair also gets a lot of damage from the fact that I am constantly coloring it and even using various tools of hair torture on it (flat irons, curling irons, etc..)

I received a full size bottle 2oz (60ml) very quickly and it was well packaged and arrived without a problem which is always a possibility during this hellish mail time of the year. There was a mention of a light nutty smell to the oil on Amazon, but I didn't notice a distinct smell. To be honest it didn't have a smell that I could tell, which was a bonus for Mr Dreadful since he has a sensitive sniffer.

The first thing that I tried the Argan oil on was my hair. As I mentioned before it is baby fine, straight as a board and super processed. After I got out of the shower I put some oil in my hands and then I rubbed them together to warm the oil up (as per the directions) and the worked the oil in my hair starting from the tips and then up to my scalp. Now I learned the first day that a little goes a LONG way. I applied too much the first time (I used an entire dropper full) and it was too much for my hair to absorb and it looked greasy. However, the next time I applied much less, and my hair absorbed it all without looking greasy.  After a couple of days I noticed that my hair was much softer, shinier and more manageable.
See this amount? This is way too much to put in your hair. You need only just a small amount!

The bottle also mentioned that it was good on dry skin patches and it often applied on feet and on the cuticles. I won't lie my feet are horribly dry and can be quite rough in the winter. After the shower I applied the Argan Oil to Feet and then placed socks over my feet for the rest of the day. It has really made all the difference. I don't feel like I am a strange human dinosaur hybrid anymore with my super rough and dry feet. They are much softer! My cuticles are also a wreck but I have noticed a considerable difference with me applying the Argan oil a couple of times a day to my cuticles and working it in.
Mr Dreadful is a bath junkie like I am and he has stolen it a couple of times in to add a few drops into his bath and it does give an extra moisturizing boost.

Now to what you have been waiting for.. on to the ratings!

Packaging: 9.5 out of 10 bats
The Uni Premium Argan 100% Organic Pure Moroccan Argan Oil comes in a nice thick glass bottle with a long glass dropper for a top. It makes it easy to control the amount that you want to apply.

Efficiency: 9.5 out of 10 bats
I noticed a huge difference in my skin and my hair after using it a couple of days.

Scent: 9.7 out of 10 bats
There is NO scent that I can detect with my nose which is a bonus for those of you with a sensitive sniffer in your household.

Affordability: 9.7 out of 10 bats
The price is 15.99 with Free Shipping for a 2oz (60ml) bottle. A little goes a long way and I still have plenty with a family of five using it.

Availability: 9.8 out of 10 bats
  It is available through Amazon.com.

Overall thoughts and impressions, I really like the product. I enjoyed the fact that there is a generous amount of oil to apply not only to my hair but also use it in the bath and with dry skin treatments. The Dreadful family enjoyed the fact that there was really no scent that we would pick up so there was no complaints that the smell was too strong or overpowering. It is extremely affordable for all the various uses we get out of it. Would we purchase this after we ran out of it? Yes, without a doubt. While I did receive this product for consideration to review, all thoughts are my own and I only recommend products that I would personally use and let my family use. Until next time lovelis!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

A Frozen Kiss!

*Press*

    Hello Lovelies!

I am back with a Lip of the Day (#lotd) inspired by Elsa and the Kiss of True Love. I will admit that I have been singing...

Yup, I have been singing this song since Mani Monday..

I did an Elsa/Frozen inspired eye a while back and I didn't want to redo it just yet, however I just received some AMAZING holographic glitters from BeautyBarBaby and Elsa Baby just screamed at me to do a glittery look with it.

The Elsa Baby Glitter TOTALLY gave me the sad snowman look..

So in order to get this Frozen songapalooza out of my head without taking a hammer to my head and bludgeoning myself into sleep (cause let's be honest it would still be haunting my dreams) I immediately riffled through my makeup and came up with this glittery lip.

I used the following products for this look
BeautyBarBaby Frozen Opaque Lipstick
BeautyBarBaby Elsa Baby Glitter
MAC NC15 Concealer
Mac Studio Fix Powder

I hope that you enjoyed this quick glittery lip, and I hope that this gets any or all Frozen Songs that are lingering in your head out. If you would like to purchase BeautyBarBaby products you can do so on Etsy. You can also follow her on Facebook, her Facebook FanPage, Instagram and Twitter! So until next time lovelies try to get Frozen out your head and wear MOAR GLITTAH!
Elsa thinks that EVERY should wear more glitter!

Mani Monday: Do You Wanna Build a SnowMan? Featuring Olaf from Carpe Noctem Cosmetics and MOAR Drunk Stamping!

*Purchased*

   Hello Lovelies!
I am back again with another installment of Mani Monday! This time featuring the awesome Limited Edition Group Custom from Carpe Noctem Cosmetics, Olaf!

Yup, that is right this awesome guy right here...
And if you have small children or live anywhere near my house you can automatically hear my youngest bellowing this song...

You know it too.. Cause everyone is singing it..EVERYONE

So as always I am super excited over any limited edition group custom that Emily from CNC makes however this was super exciting since I will admit that I am a fan as well.

Yup, that's right I am a fan...
Yup, you read that right that, I am a fan of Frozen. I don't know if am getting soft in my old age and that my cold black gothic heart is thawing. Or the fact that my daughter belts out the songs to this movie like some drunken karaoke goddess who doesn't care if she gets most of the words wrong. She is just loves the singing it damn it and it has chipped away the last slivers of my sanity... But I knew that Olaf had to be mine..

And I danced just like this back from the mail box when I opened it up..

It is a gorgeous pale frozen (yeah, you knew that word was going to be thrown in here somewhere so just let it go...^_~ ) blue with a pink shift and the perfect dash of holo to almost bring it to life on your fingers.  So I wanted to do some magical stamping on it to make it almost as kick ass as Elsa's ice magic. Cause honestly, who wouldn't want that kick ass power? And this is what happened, it isn't as awesome as Elsa, or Olaf, but maybe as cool as Sven...

I used the following products on this mani:
Opi Nail Strengthening Base Coat
Pure Ice Superstar!
Vapid Lacquers Fast Drying Top Coat
Born Pretty Stamping Plate 03 Used Code KLH10 for 10% off your order and free shipping

While my stamping is still left to be wanting, I did get the new Messy Mansion Super Soft Stamping Heads and they are incredible! New Review for them is upcoming as well!
While Olaf did disappear there is still HOPE!
The chance to order the group custom Olaf is gone, if you really need it and MUST have it you can still order it as a custom polish option from Carpe Noctem Cosmetics cause Emily is THAT awesome. You can purchase Olaf (as a custom polish only) from Carpe Noctem Cosmetics on Etsy. You can also follow her on Facebook, her Facebook Fan Page and on Instagram! So until next time lovelies stay warm, polish your nails and watch Frozen!
