Sailor Moon Crystal EOTD Series: Fire Walks With Her!

Hello Lovelies!
I am back again with another Sailor Scout for my Sailor Moon Crystal EOTD series and if you are current with the two episodes of the show you will know that there was a sneak peek of one of my favorite senshi. She was actually my favorite inner senshi until the outer scouts appeared.
A true fire woman

That's right Sailor Mars was my favorite inner senshi. Fiery, mysterious, mystical even before she became a scout, Mars was a raven haired beauty that wasn't afraid of anything. She got things done and to top it all off she was a temple priestess too!

Fire powers, a sailor scout and a temple priestess how awesome is that?
Since I am waiting for my episodes on Hulu Plus, I haven't seen anything about her with the exception of what I could find online like these character sketches.
Rei in her daily wear
The New Sailor Mars!
Like Sailor Moon and Sailor Mercury nothing has changed much with the exception of the animation style. While I really like how pretty and manga like this series is I miss the overly dramatic anime style of the 90s.
Did someone say Sailor Moon?

But enough blabbering and on with the look. I chose one of the new images of Sailor Mars that I could find in her uniform. I wanted to do something based on the color scheme of her Sailor Scout uniform as well as the fiery personality. This is what I went with..

I used the following products for this look:
Lunatick Cosmetic Labs Primer
BeautyBarBaby (BBB) Miss Daisy
BBB Turned to Gold
BBB Sweeten Up
BBB Iced Mango
BBB Grape Soda
BBB Purplicious
BBB Awesome & Then Some
BBB Devil's Breath
BBB Hades
BBB Bitten
Uniqso Kawayii Snow Purple lenses (Use code dreadfullydivine for 10% off)
Moon Princess Lashes from Born Pretty Store (Use code KLH10 for 10% off)
Wolf Fx Essential Palette for the dots.

You can find BeautyBarBaby on Etsy, Facebook, the Facebook Fanpage and Instagram! I hope that you enjoyed this Sailor Mars inspired look and until next time lovelies!

Sailor Moon Cyrstal EoTD Series: Mercury Star POWER!

*Purchased*
Hello Lovelies!
Welcome back to the next installment of my Sailor Moon Crystal EOTD Series! Now, if you checked out my Guest Blogger post on Toxid Lotus, you would have seen the first EOTD in the series. But I am super excited with the new reboot of the Sailor Moon series, with Sailor Moon Crystal so I had to do a series of looks in order to celebrate.

I am hoping to do each Scout as or before they appear. (There will be other characters added as well cause we all know that villains need love too! ) At the end of the first episode of Crystal (no worries there are no spoilers) you see the back of Ami at the school.

So of course I automatically had to to Sailor Mercury themed makeup next!

I love Mercury. She is perfect combination of awesome blue hair and brains.
I love the new artwork style it is so similar to the manga...

The classic Sailor Mercury, the manga version and finally Crystal.
But I had a dilemma! I had only seen the first episode and there is limited images of her on the web since she hasn't appeared "officially" in the series. But I wanted to do a look for her NOW!

So I decided up to take the plunge and try the Sailor Mercury Transformation!

So enough of my blathering and on with the makeup pictures!

Behold the Sailor Mercury EYE!

My detailing needs some work however I am extremely pleased with this look

And finally the giant collage of everything!
I used the following products on this look:
Candy Blossom Cosmetic's Fluff, Lotus, Fairyland Green, Halo, Angel eyes, Intergalatic, Atlantis, Mermaid's Kiss and Violets.
Dots, brows and detail done with Wolfe Fx Essential Palette
Moon Princess lashes from the Born Pretty Store  (use KLH10 for 10% off and free shipping )
I am also wearing Kawayii Snow Blue lenses from Uniqso (use code dreadfullydivine for 10% off your order)

Well I hope that you enjoyed this Sailor Mercury installment and until next time lovelies!

Cosplay 101 : Basic Care for your Circle Lenses

Hello Lovelies!
I am back again kicking off a new series entitled Cosplay 101! I am slowly venturing into the realm of cosplay even though I have always loved to do makeup inspired looks I decided to take  it a step further and actually incorporate my makeup with a full cosplay look. So this series will be simple tips and trick that I learn along the way to help others that are just starting out because, let's be honest, starting to cosplay can be seriously intimidating and confusing. Since I currently can't sew even with Martha Stewart and the entire Heroes of Cosplay cast helping me, I figured I would start with that I do feel comfortable with, circle lenses and makeup. So,  I did a video instructional on how to open up your circle lenses when you first get them and some basic care.

Please always remember some basic guidelines when handling and wearing circle lenses.

1. ALWAYS WASH YOUR HANDS!
-While this may be a no brainer to most of us, it is often really easy to be tempted to pop those gorgeous lenses in your eyes but you have to remember that you carry millions of germs on your hands from everything that you touch and come in contact with. You don't want to put any of those in your eye so please wash your hands when handling (taking out or putting in ) circle lenses.

2. If your circle lens is bothering you take it out!
-There are several reasons why your lenses may be bothering ranging from simple dust in your eyes to more serious issues like a tear. If you eye is flowing like a waterfall or it hurts please take your lenses out. You only have one pair of eyes.

3.Never share your circle lenses with other people.
-While you may love your best friend you really don't want to risk an eye infection from sharing the same lenses since your bestie may not wash his or her hands-

4. DON'T swim, wear them in a suana/steam room, or sleep in your lenses.
-They weren't made for things like this so don't risk your eyes in attempt to look cute in the steam room, swimming pool or passing out in bed. -

5.Your lenses are only good for 1 year!
-While I know that is painful to toss out those amazing lenses that look so fabulous on you or look great for this cosplay, circle lenses are only good for one year. So mark your case on the date you opened them and then throw them out. You can always keep a list of the lenses that you love that are going to expire and hunt the circle lens sites for sales and pick up a new pair before your precious lenses are thrown in the trash.

6.It is always a good idea to keep an empty case with contact solution in your purse or pockets.
- Always care an empty case with solution with you just in case you do get something in your eye and your need to take your lenses out.

I hope that you found this little guide helpful about how to open and care for your circle lenses. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me! Until next time lovelies!
